Tamika L. Sea, MD, FACOG

Dr. Sea is a native to Memphis, TN, and began her college education in Atlanta, GA at Spelman College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with concentrations in Comparative Women’s Studies and Visual Arts. She then traveled back to Memphis and attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she gained her Medical Doctorate. While at UTHSC, she was a founder of Clinical Esperanza charity clinic associated with Christ Community Clinic in Memphis, where she served the underprivileged Hispanic community in the Greater Memphis Area. She also received the prestigious Charles C. Verstandig award during her matriculation. She later attended The Methodist Hospital/Christus St. Joseph Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program in Houston, TX, where she received numerous awards, including the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Resident of the Year.

Since her return to Atlanta, she has had the privilege of serving the Greater South Atlanta area at Piedmont Henry Hospital, where she has served in several administrative roles, including Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Her fields of interest include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), high-risk obstetrics, as well as utilizing laparoscopy and performing several pelvic floor reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Sea is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to the community through outreach with her alma mater, Spelman College, as well as her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She enjoys painting, interior design projects, and spending time with friends and family and her “fur”-babies.

Dr. Dawn Jones

Board Certified Ob/Gyn
Dr. Dawn Jones is a native of Miami, Florida who received her
undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania graduating Magna cum
laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Dr. Jones went on to the Pritzker
School of Medicine at the University of Chicago where she earned her
Doctor of Medicine degree. Next, she completed an Obstetrics and
Gynecology residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee prior to
moving to the Greater Atlanta area where she has been in practice for over ten years.

Dr. Jones is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. A
foundational belief of Dr. Jones is that every woman should be provided the highest
quality of care regardless of circumstance or socioeconomic background. She is
thrilled to be serving Henry County and the surrounding communities. Dr. Jones is
committed to providing the highest level of patient-centered, comprehensive, and
individualized care. In her free time, Dr. Jones enjoys speaking Spanish, taking Zumba classes, learning to play the piano, and spending time with family and friends.

Kristina Louissaint

Nurse Practitioner
Kristina Louissaint is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience in both private and public healthcare settings. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. She then matriculated to Walden University where she received her Master's of Science in Nursing. Since starting her journey in the field of Labor and Delivery, she has always strived to provide excellent patient care, from guiding her female patients through challenging birth experiences to educating minority women on reproductive and contraceptive health usage. In 2016 she published her first birthing guide entitled "Special Delivery: Tips, Tricks, & Tales for the Expecting Mom". Kristina is not only an advocate for reproductive justice, but her mission is to equip female patients with the necessary knowledge to make educated medical decisions that will provide them with positive health outcomes. She has also helped to facilitate faith-based community health discussions surrounding Men's Health and Breast Cancer prevention and screening. She is also the owner and operator of The Hydration Bar where she promotes health and wellness through vitamin infusion therapy.

Kristina is a graduate from Emory University’s Doctorate in Nursing Practice program. Her research focus included "Standardizing the use of the Edinburg Postnatal Depression Tool in Postpartum Women". She is also the co-founder of Josiah’s Heart Foundation which provides support to families who have experienced stillbirth.

When she is not engaged in direct patient care and community initiatives, you can find her spending time with her husband and son, family, and close friends.

Shannon Mayfield

Certified Nurse Midwife
Shannon started her nursing journey at Gordon State College with her Associate's Degree Nursing in 2002. She then received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree in 2009 from Clayton State University. In 2012, she graduated from Frontier University with her Masters of Science in Nursing degree and became a Certified Nurse Midwife. Since graduating with her midwifery degree, she has delivered over 1200 babies. She provides care for low-risk and high-risk women. Her heart and passion are caring for women, their children, and their families. In January 2025, Shannon was sworn in to the Commission on Maternal and Infant Health to make recommendations for legislation to improve outcomes for mom's and babies in Georgia.

Shannon has been married to her wonderful husband for 23 years and has two amazing girls. She loves crafts and DIY projects around her house. Her mission and main goal is to help provide women with the best care and experience possible during their lifespan.

Katisha Patterson MSN, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner
Katisha Patterson is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of combined nursing experience. Her background spans mental health, postpartum care, and urogynecology, with a strong clinical focus on perimenopausal and postmenopausal health. She is deeply committed to walking alongside women through every stage of life, offering education, compassionate care, and advocacy to help them thrive.

A proud Georgia native, Katisha was born in Atlanta and raised on the southside. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University, later completing her Master of Science in Nursing to fulfill her goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. While her career has taken her through many areas of healthcare, she has found her true calling in women’s health—providing personalized, evidence-based care while building trusting and lasting relationships with her patients.

Outside of work, Katisha is a proud wife and mother of two energetic boys. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and remains actively involved in community engagement. She enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family and extended loved ones, and actively working to prioritize her own health and wellness with her gym family at Lightweight Fitness.

Katisha feels truly honored to be part of her patients’ care and wants every woman she meets to know that she sees them, values them, and is committed to working together to improve their quality of life.

Brittney Gethers, CNM

Certified Nurse Midwife
Brittney Gethers is a Certified Nurse Midwife dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to women and families. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and has been working in women’s health since 2018, including experience as a practicing midwife.

With a strong background as a labor and delivery nurse, Brittney brings a calm, supportive presence to every patient interaction. She is especially passionate about advocacy, patient education, and empowering individuals throughout their healthcare journeys. Whether guiding a family through childbirth or supporting someone through a routine visit, her goal is to ensure every patient feels heard, informed, and cared for.


Outside of work, Brittney enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
